Meet the cattlehands
Certainly knows his stuff! Having worked in craft breweries back at home in Minnesota, Wes gained an interest in brewing early on and following on from his English degree he decided to study brewing and distilling at one of the world leading universities in this field, Herriot Watt. Since then he has worked for Charles Wells in Bedford but became a small fish in a big pond and needed to express his creative side and have more input to his own destiny.
“Cattle Shed Brew Co is a perfect fit for me as I can go wild and experiment with all sorts of styles and make my mark”
Paul trained as a chef back home in Chicago and travelled to Europe regularly back to his place of birth in Lithuania. He decided to move to the UK a few years ago and started to develop a keen interest in brewing. As well as his full time job in a kitchen he found work on his day off working for free for Redemption brewery in London. His talent for brewing was quickly recognised and started working there full time (now paid). We are lucky to have Paul in our team, he is a really hard worker and dedicated family man
Like gazing enigmatically into the distance. But if anyone knows what else he does please write in and illuminate us, as we have never really worked it out!
The pivotal figure in the brewery, responsible for Sales and Marketing and style culture.
The graphic designer, creative behind strap lines, branding and identity…his use of adjectives like tactile and behemoth, astound us, as does his own self belief
Described as the helicopter for his ability to multi task …and
Inspired by Peter Saville and Antony Gormley, he is a little bit too obsessive over labels, fonts and space
Often acerbic, the critic, shares his time (he has no spare time) thinking, in galleries, listening to music, looking at architecture, sculpture, salivating over street food and researching craft beers
Additionally, he is our field sales contact…
In case you didn’t realise he also insists on writing his own Bios!
So busy that she doesn’t yet have a bio! We’ll pin her down soon.
Also, known as Poldark (yes ladies, he is ripped). Our man on the phone. He is the King of the call! Will takes your orders and makes sure you have what you need but more than that, His athletic frame is often seen running around the brewery processing, packaging and delivering superlative customer service to licensees, site visitors and for all our on line orders as well as looking after our on site shop! No wonder he is so fit. Famous for his love of short breaks and adventure, he relishes new business, 30-degree weather and chewing the fat. Also, he eats like a horse.
Hopefully, it’s not all gone “Pete Tong”!
The Token Woman
Unfair job title but she loves it. She does have a face, in fact she has a few. But apparently they don’t photograph well?
Jo looks after everything the boss should do but can’t be bothered to do. The whole thing falls over when she is not around. Never been seen in flat shoes and even owns a pair of high heeled trainers!
Certainly not afraid of work Tom will have a go at most things and makes sure all the beer goes out on time. He is the strong silent type and helps everyone and anyone, from bottling and filling kegs to chipping in with the brewers, driving the van and delivering beer on the dray run. A key member of the team right there, without this man there would be just emptiness and sadness.
Take the tour
