Brewery Tours

We don’t brew everyday but the brewery is operational mon-fri, the Saturday tours will not see any brewery action but the full tour is still available. Brewery tours take 1.5 hours and include a tour of the brewery as well as a chance to sample some of our wonderful beers in our Brewery Shop.

We run tours on Thursdays at 2.30 pm,  Saturdays at 10.30 am and 12.30 pm (booking required).

Please turn up at the Brewery Shop 5 minutes before the start of your tour.

Cost: £10.00 per person.

MINIMUM NUMBER: 10 PEOPLE (not Sundays or bank holidays) – when the trains are running

(Available April – October)

The ‘Ales and Rails’ group tours (minimum of 10 people) can be enjoyed in two ways:

Option 1 – £33.50 per person.
Arrive at Tenterden Station and park for free. Start your guided tour of the brewery at 11.30am which lasts around an hour and a half (except Saturdays as our tours are at 10.30 am).
Enjoy tastings and have time to browse in our brewery shop. Then stroll a few yards in time to take the 1.15pm steam departure where at your reserved seats a delicious Ploughmans Lunch will be served. The return trip to Bodiam is almost two hours, arriving back to Tenterden at 3.15pm.

Option 2 – £32.40 per person.
As above but start your guided tour of the brewery at 1.45pm. Then stroll a few yards in time to take the 3.35pm steam departure where at your reserved seats a delicious Cream Tea will be served. The return trip to Bodiam is almost two hours, arriving back to Tenterden at 5.35pm

Arrive at Chapel Down for the 10.30 am guided tour of the vineyards and winery, followed by a wine tasting. At 12.30 pm you can either enjoy a lunch at The Swan, Chapel Down (this must be pre-booked directly with The Swan) or take your coach into Tenterden for lunch.

At 2.30 pm arrive at the Cattle Shed Brew Co and enjoy a Brewery Tour and a beer tasting before departing at 4.30 pm.

£18.00 per person (not including lunch).
Tours run from April – November.

Cycle Kent, the easy way!

Group tours with Electric Bike Tours, based at Bloomsbury Retreat, Biddenden, are now offering scheduled tours or a self-guided electric bike hire. Electric Bikes offer a unique experience viewing Kent on an electric bike!  They have a number of marked routes that pass many of Kent’s great attractions including historic castles, vineyards, a brewery, famous gardens, beautiful villages and lots more.  One of the popular trips is around the Weald visiting local vineyards or Old Dairy Brewery having a tour and tasting award ales and wines.

Cattle Shed Brew Co are offering a great group tour package (minimum 10 people) with electric bikes. Normal price for bike and a tour is £55 discounted price of £50.  Includes hire of your bike as well as tour of the brewery.  Not available on Sundays or bank holidays.

Group Tours

Tailored Brewery Tours

We are delighted to cater for larger groups that wish to organise a private brewery tour. We can provide our regular tour for your party, or tailor it to your particular needs.

Private tours can be arranged during our normal opening hours, but if you require an alternative time then let us know and we will do our best to accommodate. Please endeavour to give us at least 2 weeks notice.

Fill our the enquiry form with all the relevant information you can provide and we will get back in touch as soon as we can.

Be advised – we currently brew on weekdays only.  If you come on a weekend tour you will not see the brewery in action brewing beer. However, you will still be given a full tour of the brewery.

Please turn up at the Brewery Shop 5 minutes before the start of your tour.
